Project meeting “Drives of the future” at KIT

How do we awaken enthusiasm for technical contexts and engineering issues in young people? And how do we manage to utilise synergies between school, university and industry in order to offer career guidance at the same time?

Together, employees from APL, KIT and schools have developed innovative ideas on how this can be achieved at the interface between engineering and schools.

The focus is on a fuel cell model vehicle with a test bench that can be used in various settings in the school and study subject of science and technology (NwT) in Baden-Württemberg. In this way, we want to promote long-term interest in science and technology and engineering among schoolchildren and students.

An exciting project with real added value for the education of the future!

Kant-Gymnasium Karlsruhe, which recently became a MINT-EC school and support centre for molecular biology, is also an important partner: Kant-Gymnasium Karlsruhe
