FAQ
Application
If you have any questions about a job advertisement, please send us an email to: karriere@apl-landau.de
Absolutely. If you don’t try, you’ll never find out if you were just the right person? Nobody can do everything!
If you haven’t found a suitable job offer, you are welcome to send an unsolicited application. Please note, however, that the chances of finding a suitable position in a timely manner may be lower than if you applied directly for an advertised position.
All open job offers are published daily on our careers page.
Unfortunately no, because positions that we were able to fill will be immediately removed from our job market. It is then no longer possible to apply for this position.
To process your application, we need your complete contact details as well as your complete CV as well as the earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations.
Optionally, we would be happy to receive your meaningful cover letter, certificates and proof of activity so that we can get to know you a little better in advance .
Please note the maximum size of 15 MB and the specified file formats pdf, jpeg and png. If the upload still doesn’t work, please contact karriere@apl-landau.de.
No, the decision whether you want to include a photo or not is entirely up to you. This neither favors nor disadvantages your application process.
Of course, we also accept applications without the required certificates. However, please note that we may ask you to submit this later as part of the recruitment process.
We take the time to carefully review each application, which may take some time. We therefore ask for your patience and understanding. As soon as we have gained an impression of your application, we will contact you immediately.
Often it’s just the subtleties that make the difference and ultimately lead to rejection. Please do not take this personally. If you would like to apply to APL again in the future, we would be happy to hear from you.
Job interview
As a rule, both a representative from the specialist department and someone from HR are present at the discussions. You will be informed exactly who is taking part in the invitation email.
We also like to refer to the interview as an introductory interview. We introduce ourselves, you introduce yourself. We are interested in your expertise, what experience you have gained and what you imagine for your future work. We want to experience you authentically.
Clear answer: no. Be authentic and dress as you would at work. If you normally wear a suit to work, that’s fine with us too. However, if you wear safety shoes and workshop clothing, that is also acceptable.
