More about Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg has around 125,000 inhabitants and is very centrally located between Hanover and Berlin. The modern city impresses with a wide range of cultural and leisure activities. Whether it’s a congress park, city theater, Allersee, water park or ice skating stadium: residents of all ages will find variety here. You can shop with the whole family in the City Galerie and the outlet center and marvel at scientific experiments in the “phæno” science center.

For many people, Wolfsburg is inextricably linked to the automotive industry. The city’s engineering density and productivity are extremely high. Wolfsburg not only has the highest gross domestic product per inhabitant, it is also where most of the employees work in future industries.

The city is ideally positioned in terms of transport – thanks to a narrow network of roads and motorways, rail transport and the longest artificial waterway in Germany.
